Climb Mount Toubkal (Winter)

OVERVIEW
A Toubkal winter climb is often a trekker’s paradise. The trails are quiet, and the peaks of the High Atlas are stunning and snow-capped in the sunshine.
This 5 day group challenge requires us to the summit of North Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Toubkal at 4,167m. We begin our three days of trekking in the foothills of the High Atlas, in which picturesque valleys lined with juniper trees provide us shade on the descent of ours into the Mizane Valley.
We spend a few hours at Base Camp knowing how to work with ice axes & crampons, before making our final climb on the summit. It is often a difficult climb, based on the ice level, nonetheless, we’re rewarded with unparalleled ideas from the gorgeous Mount Toubkal of the surrounding peaks, with Marrakech into the North, and also the great expanse of the Sahara on the South. The final day of ours is spent exploring Marrakech’s sites and souks before coming together for the celebratory dinner.
