‘You’re an army of brave, wonderful people’: Celebrities thank NHS staff

Celebrities have shared more messages of thanks to NHS staff working in the fight against coronavirus.

Stars including Billie Eilish, Gary Barlow and Olivia Colman showed their support for those who are on the frontline of the battle against the pandemic.

The short compilation video has been shared across NHS England and NHS Improvement Twitter and Facebook accounts to coincide with this Thursday’s Clap For Our Carers applause.

Many celebrities have been showing their appreciation for health and emergency workers on social media over the last few weeks of lockdown, as the COVID-19 spreads around the world.

The Last Leg presenter Adam Hills said thank you with his daughter from his garden, with a homemade poster to tell the NHS “we love you”

Brassic actor Joe Gilgun gave a cheeky nod with his NHS thank you, a wooly-hatted Nick Frost said “thank you so much” and Celebrity Juice star Keith Lemon showed his appreciation from under the large brim of a sun hat.
