The calculator will give you an estimate of how much Pension Credit you could get.

Before you start, you will need details of your:

earnings, benefits and pensions
savings and investments

You will also need the same details for your partner, if you have one.

The ‘net’ figure for all your taxable income is taken into account. This means you should provide the net figure for all your taxable income when using this calculator.
When you can’t use the calculator

You can’t use this calculator if you or your partner:

are deferring your State Pension
own more than one property
are self-employed

The estimate you are about to receive is based on the information you provide about your circumstances.

Remember that your estimate may be incorrect if:

you input incorrect or incomplete information
your circumstances change
benefit rates and rules change

Applying for Pension Credit

The Pension Calculator gives you an estimate of how much Pension Credit you may get.

It is not an application for Pension Credit and using it will not affect any application you make.
